The story of The Daily Grind Cafe began not in a boardroom, but in a small, sun-drenched apartment overlooking the Puget Sound. Amelia Stone, a lifelong Seattle resident with an unwavering passion for coffee and community, dreamt of creating a space where people could come together to enjoy exceptional coffee, delicious pastries, and a warm, inviting atmosphere. After years of honing her barista skills at various local cafes and tirelessly perfecting her own blend of roasted Arabica beans, Amelia finally took the plunge in 2010.
With a small loan from her family and a whole lot of elbow grease, Amelia transformed a neglected storefront on Pike Street into what is now The Daily Grind Cafe. The early days were challenging. Amelia juggled everything from brewing coffee and baking pastries to managing the finances and sweeping the floors. But her unwavering dedication to quality and her genuine connection with her customers soon began to pay off.
